Meet our staff!
PATA @ Siddington and Kemble Playgroup is a registered charity and is run by PATA,
the largest voluntary sector provider of support to early years childcare and education in Gloucestershire. Being part of PATA, with their first-hand knowledge and experience of the challenges and successes community playgroups encounter in the current climate, ensures our staff team have the support, advice and guidance needed to provide the best possible experience for our children and families.
Gemma Turner
Early Years Manager

Hi, I’m Gemma. I am Level 5 qualified in childcare and am the Designated Safeguarding Lead for Siddington, as well as having First Aid Training. I have been working with playgroup for 6 years now, originally starting as a bank member of staff to progressing to where I am today. I love working with children especially as my job is different every day and always full of fun. I am married to Aaron and we have a daughter called Hermione.
In my spare time I enjoy going swimming with my daughter, going on long dog walks and reading a good book!
Emma Savory
Early Years Deputy

Hi, I’m Emma. I am Level 3 qualified in Early Years Care and Education. I have worked in a childcare setting for 21 years with children from 3 months to 8 years old in various roles including nursery nurse, room leader, 3rd in charge and Deputy/Manager.
​
I began my journey here at Siddington in September 2019 and thoroughly enjoy every minute!

In my spare time I enjoy running, gym and spending time with my 2 children.
Tracey Watt
Early Years Practitioner
Hi, I’m Tracey. I am Level 3 qualified in Early Years Care and Education. I have worked in childcare for over 18 years with children from 3 months to 5 years, spending most of my time with children aged 3-5 years.
I started at Siddington in September 2019 as a Bank member of staff before joining permanently as Early Years Practitioner in March 2020.
In my spare time I enjoy walking my dog, going to the theatre and spending time with my family.
Our Bank Staff:
We are dedicated to providing the best possible care and learning for our children and therefore ensure we have bank staff on stand-by if needed. These childcare qualified members of staff are Enhanced DBS checked, First Aid, Safeguarding and Prevent trained. Our Bank members of staff are:
